Right Click anywhere on your Desktop, but not on any icons.

Click 'Properties' from the menu. |

Select the 'Settings' Tab at the top of the properties window. |

In the lower right corner there is a slider for 'Desktop Area', |

Slide this to the right, increasing your resolution until it is
equal to 1024 X 768. Click 'Apply'. |

You will be warned that your are about to resize your desktop
and the screen may flicker, Click 'Ok'.

Your desktop will resize and you will be asked if you wish to
keep the settings. Click 'Yes'.

Close the properties window. |

Close this browser window. |
